What we collect, and what you are buying

Two pages in one, both written plainly. If anything here is unclear, email us and we will explain it rather than point you back at the wording.

Privacy

What we collect when you buy

At the checkout, Stripe asks you for a business name and an email address. Those two things come back to us. Your business name is what gets printed on the cover and the foot of every page of your copy, which is the point of asking for it.

Stripe handles the payment itself. Card numbers, expiry dates and billing addresses go to Stripe and never reach our server. We could not see them if we wanted to.

What we keep, and where

On our web server, in a folder that cannot be reached from the web, we write one small record per order:

• Business nameAs you typed it at the checkout
• Email addressAs collected by Stripe
• OrderA reference, the edition you bought, and the date
• Download recordWhen the link was first opened, and how many times the file has been downloaded

The same fields go into a single line on a buyer list, and each download writes a line to a log file. That is the whole of it.

Our web host also keeps ordinary server logs, which include the IP address of anyone who visits any website. That is standard for every site on the internet and is not something we set up or read.

What we do not do

• No analytics. No Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no heatmaps, no session recording.
• No advertising or tracking of any kind.
• No cookies. This site does not set one.
• No third-party requests. Even the typefaces are served from this domain rather than from Google, so loading this page does not tell anyone else that you were here.
• No selling, renting or sharing of the buyer list.

Emails you might get from us

Two kinds, and no others. Something about your own order, if it goes wrong. And occasionally, a short note when the pack is revised, because a resource anchored to a set of published standards goes stale when those standards move.

Every one of those carries an unsubscribe. Reply with the word stop and that works too.

Who else is involved

• Stripe takes the payment and holds the payment details, under their own privacy policy.
• Our web host runs the server the site and the order records sit on.

Nobody else. There is no CRM, no mailing platform, no analytics vendor and no advertising network in this picture.

How long we keep it, and how to have it removed

We keep the order record while we are still selling and supporting the pack, because it is the record of the sale and it is how we re-send your file if you lose it.

If you would rather we did not, email us and we will delete your record. You can also ask for a copy of what we hold, or ask us to correct it. We will do any of those within 30 days, and there is no charge.

Deleting your record means we can no longer re-send your pack, so keep your copy of the file.

Terms of sale

What you are buying

A PDF. One file, downloaded once and yours to keep. It is not a subscription, there is nothing recurring, and there is no account to manage.

Price

All prices are in Australian dollars. Stripe emails you the receipt.

Delivery

Immediately. When the payment goes through, Stripe returns you to a page on this site that builds your copy and starts the download.

Your business name on the copy

The name you type at the checkout is printed on the cover and at the foot of every page. It is your record of what you bought and it discourages the file being passed around outside your organisation. If you mistype it, tell us and we will send you a corrected copy.

Licence

This pack is licensed to the organisation named on the cover.

You may print it, copy it, and share it with your own staff. You may not resell it, publish it, or pass it to another organisation.

How many houses it covers depends on your edition. The edition is named on the cover.

• Team LicenceEvery house you run. No limit on staff or copies.

By house we mean one SIL property. Site, service, home: same thing.

Bought a single-house edition and run more than one? Email us. We will move you up to the Team Licence for the difference, not the full price.

Not sure whether something is covered? Ask. The answer is usually yes.

If something is wrong with your download

Nothing here limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

If the file will not download, will not open, or is missing pages, email us and tell us what happens when you try. We will send you a working copy personally.

It is an ordinary PDF: it opens in any web browser or PDF reader. No special software, no password, nothing to install.

Once a working copy has been supplied, or where the request is a change of mind or an accidental purchase, a refund is not available.

What this pack is not

It is a preparation resource. It is not an audit, a certification, legal advice or regulatory advice, and it does not guarantee any audit or registration outcome.

It is independently produced. It is not endorsed by, affiliated with, or produced by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission. Quality indicators are quoted from the NDIS Practice Standards, © Commonwealth of Australia, published under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 Australia licence. Treat the Commission's own published documents as the authoritative source.

The regulatory content is anchored to the Commission's published material as at August 2026. Standards change. Check the Commission's website before relying on any specific figure or wording.
